ALCIVIA Heating and Cooling team members know that frigid winter temperatures will be here soon. That’s exactly why they spent a Saturday in early October installing a new furnace to help a deserving family. Without major repairs, the furnace would most likely not have made it through the winter months.
This was done through Lennox’s nation-wide Feel the Love program. A program that originated in Wisconsin as “Heat up Wisconsin,” in 2010, with ALCIVIA being an original participating Lennox dealer. ALCIVIA HVAC team donates their time and materials every year and the furnace is donated by Lennox Industries, which has provided more than 1,000 furnaces to families in need as part of the program.
The Wisconsin family was selected as part of Feel the Love, which asks members of the community to nominate neighbors in need. Nominations for the program are accepted year-round, with recipients chosen based on specific criteria each September—before temperatures start to drop.
“I’m proud of our dedicated ALCIVIA team for volunteering and donating their time and talent on a Saturday,” says Tom Krausse, manager at ALCIVIA Heating and Cooling. “We’re always looking for a well deserving family or veteran for next year’s program.
