Erik Williams is ALCIVIA’s Vice President of Grain. In his role, Erik directs, promotes, and coordinates the Grain business unit for ALCIVIA in a manner that optimizes the cooperative’s market share and savings, improves the cooperative’s efficiency, and helps achieve the cooperative’s mission of advancing our customers through innovative and responsible solutions and vision of customer success powered by engaged employees.

Erik is a 2004 graduate of UW-Stout. He started in 2004 on the floor of the Minneapolis grain exchange as a pit order runner and progressed into a full-time trading pit trader and broker until the closing of the trading pits. In 2011, Erik went to work for Cargill at their hedge desk executing futures orders for their worldwide business units. That position led him down the path of taking a cash trading position at ADM in 2015, managing northern river house terminals trading the New Orleans CIF export trading market. During this time Erik was also an on-call, part-time firefighter/EMT for the city of Woodbury, MN.

Erik is a father of a 14-year-old daughter, Hanna, and both live in Cottage Grove, MN. He has a passion for coaching youth sports and community involvement. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor sportsman’s activities and loves all sports, both watching and playing.
