Kari is the co-owner and CFO of Tri-Fecta Farms Inc., where she and her siblings, Nick and Katy Schultz, manage a 500‑cow dairy farm and 2,000 acres of crops alongside their parents, Keven and Cheryl. She leads the farm’s financial and strategic planning and is dedicated to strong succession planning to ensure a thriving legacy for future generations.
She also serves as Associate Vice President for Advancement and Alumni Relations at Edgewood University. Her career there has included leadership roles in financial aid and enrollment management, with a focus on data-informed strategy, operational excellence, and organizational development.
She holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration and marketing from Carthage College, where she played volleyball, as well as an MBA from Edgewood University.
The 2 years she spent as an Associate Director on the ALCIVIA board was incredibly insightful. It deepened her understanding of the cooperative’s business operations, challenges, and opportunities. Contributing to its strategic direction is both exciting and meaningful, helping shape the future of agriculture.
She lives in rural Arena with her husband Eric and their two children. She enjoys the outdoors, family time, reading, cooking, Tae Kwon Do with her kids, Pilates, and rescuing cats.
