ALCIVIA and Partners Support Second Harvest in Efforts to End Hunger
COTTAGE GROVE, WI – ALCIVIA and partners donated $40,000 combined to Second Harvest of Southern Wisconsin and Second Harvest Heartland to support those facing hunger in our communities during the upcoming holiday season. This is the thirteenth year that ALCIVIA has partnered with the food banks, with a total giving of $245,100 throughout the years.
ALCIVIA is proud to be a continued sponsor of Second Harvest of Southern Wisconsin and Second Harvest Heartland as part of the cooperative’s philanthropic efforts to end hunger. The two food banks served a total of 128 million meals last year to those struggling with hunger and food insecurity across 75 counties in their service areas.
“Working with these two organizations enables our investments in ending hunger in our communities to be utilized where they are needed most,” said Jim Dell, CEO and President of ALCIVIA.
Ending hunger is one of the core causes that ALCIVIA supports in the ‘ALCIVIA Gives Back’ campaign. To learn more or to request a donation, please visit ALCIVIA.com/GivingBack.
